Refreshments and Lunch

All coffee breaks will take place in front of the meeting room and are free of charge to the participants.

A lunch at the participants costs (8.20€) will be served in the same building. The costs have to be payed individually with the caterer.

SQUARE Project Meeting Network Dinner

At Wednesday 10 July 2019 (starting at 19:00) there will be a BBQ (with amble vegetarian options) organised in the patio in front of the meeting building which is free of charge to the registred participants.

At Thursday 11 July 2019; 19:00 there is a table reserved for registred participants at the local beer brewery Vogelbräu, Kapellenstraße 50, Karlsruhe). The costs have to be payed individually.

Nearest Airports - Frankfurt, Strasbourg, Stuttgart (or Karlsruhe-Baden-Baden)

From Frankfurt airport or Strasbourg airport to Karlsruhe one hour by train. From Stuttgart 1,5h by train to Karlsruhe.
(Some flights go to Karlsruhe-Baden-Baden but public transport to Karlsruhe form there is quite bad, so you would need to get a taxi there (ca. 40min.)

Public transport Karlsruhe

Tram-stop next to the kick-off venue is “Kronenplatz”.
From the train station take tram #2 (final destination Wolfartsweier) or S1/S11 (east-bound) to Kronenplatz (leaving every 10mins, taking approx. 10min).
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket-machines at the tram stop or at the KVV-office outside the main train station building on the left side.
Chose “Single ticket” for Karlsruhe costing 2,60 €
If you travel together with several people you could also take a DayTicket Cityplus, which is valid for one calendar day for up to 5 people, costing 10.90€ .

• To validate you have to stamp you ticket in the tram.
• Please note, due to some construction sites in central Karlsruhe, tram-ways might not run as marked on maps.
